The clay contains approximately 20% fine chamotte (0–0.5 mm), providing added strength while maintaining a smooth, workable consistency. This balance makes it especially suitable for hand-building, sculpting, and forming medium-sized ceramic objects with improved structural stability.

Once fired, the clay develops a deep dark brown tone, with subtle variations depending on the kiln temperature. This natural colour makes it an excellent choice for decorative ceramics, functional pottery, and sculptural work where a warm, organic finish is desired.
